Breast Health
Utilizing a multi-site, state of the art, breast-imaging center that provides both screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic biopsy, residents will train in the evaluation and treatment of breast abnormalities. This third-year rotation includes clinical time spent with a multi-disciplinary Breast Health Team of surgical oncologists, radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and nurse practitioners. This experience solidifies the resident's expertise in performing and teaching breast exams and treating breast disorders.
Rotation Includes
- Observation of outpatient surgical procedures
- Opportunity to learn fine needle aspiration & breast cyst aspiration

- Breast Radiation Oncology with Monica Morris, MD
- Surgical Oncology with Harry Bear, MD
- Lactation Consultation
